A new and exciting chapter unfolds: KSI opens the first subsidiary in North America.

Since 2022 KSI Technologies Canada Corp. supports compressed air dealers and service companies across Canada and the USA with filtration and drying solutions as well as service parts.

KSI Filtertechnik looks back on a storybook career on the occasion of its 25th anniversary in March 2021. “Day after day, it is  amazing what we have built up here with our combined forces,” describes founder and managing director Holger Krebs. “We can proudly say that we stood our ground in the market as an owner-managed family business.”

The three European subsidiaries and KSI sales offices in China, India, Russia and Kenia are followed by a new office in South East Asia. The sales office „Asian Pacific“ in Hong Kong is the main contact for customers in the markets of Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Australia.

KSI begins a new chapter in company history: 18 years after the foundation the KSI moves from Niederkrüchten to Willich.  20,000 sqft, state of the art office spaces and 30,000 sqft industrial space for manufacturing and warehousing offer new possibilities. A new training center is created to further improve our customers knowledge and expertise.

A new desiccant dryer generation sets new industry standards in the high-end spectrum.  ECOTROC ATW-V/VG models operate entirely without purge air losses and can reduce the regeneration temperature due to the usage of vacuum. The result: highest quality and operational reliability with lowest energy demands. Use cases are mostly in critical applications, like semiconductor production, pharma and food industry.

By using high quality components KSI improves desiccant dryers for high pressure applications and creates safe, reliable and compact solutions. The ECOTROC AT-HP range is used in various applications for compressed air, but also for helium purification.

KSI rebrand: From now on the orange dot is part of the KSI identity wherever we go: in our logo, on trade shows, on the webpage, on documents, and in the latest design of “Druckschrift”… The fresh and unusual colour combination of blue and orange provides the company with a new image: energetic, unconventional, fresh!

With the implementation of the Customizing process KSI enters a new era of customer service. Filters in the ECOCLEAN product line can be customized and painted in every colour (RAL coded) as well as private labelled with customer part numbers and individual logos.

The new web page is launched: www.ksi.eu. The URL is quite short, easy to remember, and carries the European and international orientation in its name.

September

This is going to be a very special summer party! The complete KSI Germany team travels to Rymanov in Czech Republic to visit the colleagues there and see the area.

November

KSI and Pro Air organize eight training sessions all over Germany with a total of 125 participating companies. The topics are sensor technology and analysis as well as medical compressed air treatment and desiccant drying.

The next European subsidiary is founded in Birmingham, UK. KSI Technologies Ltd. experiences a huge demand for compressed air filters and alternative line filter elements.

KSI grows and grows and grows … And luckily KSI manages to expand office facilities right at their home base in Niederkrüchten, Germany. The sales department moves to a new 4,000 sqft office close to the existing premises.

KSI opens up the first European subsidiary in Rymarov, Czech Republic. KSI Filtertechnik s.r.o. starts serving customers in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and other Eastern European countries. Furthermore, components for the KSI product range are manufactured in Rymarov and then sent to Germany for assembly and final testing.

Due to the rapid growth KSI leaves home and moves to Niederkrüchten. In the quite small and quiet industrial area between Mönchengladbach and Roermond KSI occupies a modern, 10,000 sqft logistics center, with more than 2,200 different products in stock to meet the various customer requirements as quickly as possible.

The KS-I – in the early days with a short hyphen “s” and “i” – sees the light of day in a garage in a residential area in Tönisvorst in the Lower Rhine region. At the start: production and distribution of alternative activated carbon filters for oil-water separators – also 20 years later a very important field of business.
